Russell became our congregational evangelist on October 6, 2019.  He completed a degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Special Education from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2011. His ministry experience consists of preaching and teaching the gospel for twelve years serving in congregations in Nebraska, Kansas, and Kentucky. He has had the privilege of speaking in gospel meetings, lectureships, summer bible series, as well as having the opportunity to teach a course for the Brookport school of the Bible in Brookport, Illinois. Russell and Shannon were married in August of 2012.  Shannon has served alongside Russell in ministry for seven years.  Together they have taught bible classes, written articles, developed classroom material, as well as planned and hosted four lectureships.  Shannon also does the final graphic design work for all the sermon PowerPoint presentations.  Russell and Shannon previously were serving with the Heath church of Christ in Kevil, Kentucky.  Russell and Shannon are excited about becoming part of our congregation and we look forward to working and serving with them as well.
